Quite on weekdays but busy on weekends. Offers free pool from Monday to Wednesday. Staff always seem to be welcoming and friendly.

Food is amazing! Sunday roast is gorgeous!
Beer: 8/10 - Good selection of beers tasty golden ale
Atmosphere: Sat outside in the sun on a Sunday was very nice. Staff very nice!
Other: Pool table and Darts board.
Would recommend!

We popped in for a random lunch out and as we walked into this charming pub, we were pleasantly surprised. Such lovely interior and the food was wonderful! We sat in the beer garden at the back, lovely and green and a nice area to sit and eat.
Lovely men at the bar, who even served our food. We would highly recommend.

Stopped in on Saturday for some lunch, and was looking for a pub that would allow us to take our Dog in with us. The Market Tavern is very accommodating, the owners are very attentive and jolly. The food is sumptuous and generously portioned. All in all a lovely atmosphere and will return sometime in the near future 🐕

I’m a mature male age 20, it was Friday night about 8/9pm. I got declined access to the Tavern because I was wearing black jeggings (black joggers that look like jeans)I think this is absolutely ridiculous since this isn’t close to the higher end pubs, like dv8 which I got allowed into immediately. Terrible experience.

Lovely pub and lovely food. The guy waiting on us was amazing, made us feel very welcome and couldnt do more for us unfortunately i did not get his name. We will be back

Popped in this afternoon and it was very busy but the landlord managed to fit us in for Sunday lunch . I must say it's the nicest Sunday roast I have had in years and we eat out a lot 😋 . Such a warm welcoming pub landlord is amazing very friendly as is the rest of the team . Can't wait to come back very soon and eat again . I really wish this was my local pub other pubs should take note this is how it is done top notch. Great food, great price, great atmosphere, great jam roly poly. 100 percent recommend xx

Had an amazing Sunday roast for £12. Three of us ate. Choice of three meats and a really good plateful. Wonderful tasty roast potatoes, meat and veg. Staff were very kind and helpful in adapting my dads meal to his needs. Highly recommended

Excellent lunch today here. The landlord was a fabulous character, reminded me very much of Paul O' Grady plied everyone with shots of an amazing caramel liqueur - on the house. Would most definitely return when we are next in Sandbach.
